Jacob Hollister

So far this training camp and preseason, Dawson Knox has not really established himself as the starting tight end and this is one position that is theoretically still up for grabs. The hope was that the third-year tight end could take that next step but that hasn’t happened with two receptions, 20 receiving yards on three targets in the two preseason games.

Meanwhile, Jacob Hollister had an impressive performance against the Chicago Bears and clearly looked like the best tight end on the Bills with three receptions for 53 yards, including a 26-yard reception.

In this third preseason game, I will be watching who the first tight end on the field is and whether Hollister does get some playing time with the starters. This could be a great opportunity for the veteran tight end to establish himself as the starting tight end and move ahead of Dawson Knox.
