Quarterback (2)

Starter: Josh Allen

Backup: Mitch Trubisky

Cut: Davis Webb, Jake Fromm

After the preseason game against the Lions, it seemed like one of Davis Webb or Jake Fromm could play their way onto the roster. After the preseason game against the Bears, it is a near guarantee that the Buffalo Bills stick with only two quarterbacks this season. Josh Allen should be an MVP candidate and although it is preseason what Mitch Trubisky did to the Bears showed he is one of the top backups in the league.

Webb and Fromm could carve out roles on the practice squad. With the larger practice squad, both of them could end up being a part of the Buffalo Bills in 2021. However, that won’t be a part of the 53-man roster. Some people have created rumors that Buffalo should trade Trubisky to a quarterback-needy team for a collection of picks. Unless an out-of-this-world offer comes through Brandon Beane’s phone Trubisky is not going anywhere.
