Buffalo Bills pass rush looks great

The pass rush was a focus for the Buffalo Bills front office and they used their first two draft picks on the position with the selections of Greg Rousseau and Boogie Basham. These two players, along with A.J. Epenesa, Efe Obada, and Darryl Johnson, have been making it tough on opposing quarterbacks this preseason.

In two preseason games, these five players have combined to register 4.5 sacks and 12 QB hits. Greg Rousseau in particular has looked tremendous and is one of the best rookie pass rushers this preseason, according to Pro Football Focus.

The fact that the Buffalo Bills have been able to do this without Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison, who is listed as their starters, says a lot about the state of the position. The toughest challenge for Sean McDermott and this defensive coaching staff is going to be fine the right balance that is able to get all players involved and allow them to be effective. However, this is certainly a good problem to have.
