These are five players in jeopardy of being part of the next round of cuts for the Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills last weekend trimmed the roster from 91 to 86 and will have to release five more players by Tuesday to trim the roster down to 81 players. Most teams will have to cut down to 80 players but Christian Wade, who is part of the Internation Player Pathway Program, gives the Bills a roster exemption.

When looking at the Bills roster, the front office is going to need to find a balance of players who are lower on the depth chart but keeping in mind there is one more preseason game. The fact that there are only three preseason games, unlike past years when it has been four, it remains to be seen if the Bills are planning to treat this next game as what used to be the “dress rehearsal” or view it as the final preseason game, which rarely saw starters play.

The front office will also need to take into account injuries so this next round is unlikely to include any offensive linemen, which the Bills released three last week, or defensive tackles since Harrison Phillips and Justin Zimmer both left the Bears game early.

With that in mind, these are five players that I believe are in jeopardy of being released in this next round of roster cuts.
