Greg Rousseau

The first player I will be watching is defensive end Greg Rousseau who is coming off a great game against the Detroit Lions. The 30th overall pick finished the game with three pressures and one sack while going up against Top 10 pick Penei Sewell.

This week will create a new challenge as Rousseau will try to put pressure on Justin Fields, who has much more mobility and is more elusive than Jared Goff. However, if Rousseau has another good game, it may be time to change expectations for his rookie season.

When the Buffalo Bills drafted Greg Rousseau, he was viewed as a player that had all the physical skills but could need some time to develop as he was raw. That didn’t look like it was the case against the Lions and could be in a position to contribute more than initially thought.
