Running Back: Devin Singletary

With Zack Moss out we got to see a heavy dose of Devin Singletary with the first couple of offensive groupings. Singletary didn’t disappoint, flashing vision, agility, and quickness. Singletary averaged 5.2 yards per carry picking up 42 yards on 8 carries behind a subpar offensive line.

Motor also flashed some hands when he broke out of a play-action fake to catch for the Bills only touchdown of the night. Despite playing behind similar offensive lines Singletary significantly outplayed newcomer Matt Breida, which should be a good sign for him moving forwards.

Wide Receiver: Marquez Stevenson

On a 4th and 10 late in the 4th quarter rookie speedster, Marquez Stevenson beat the Lions defense over the top to move the Bills from their 20-yard line to the edge of field goal range.

Stevenson finished his day with 3 catches for 50 yards, leading the Bills in both categories. His play to beat the Lions defense deep when they were expecting a deep pass was one of the best plays of the night and puts his game-breaking speed into perspective.
