Will the run game continue to be a focus for the Buffalo Bills?

In the game against the Detroit Lions, the Buffalo Bills put a greater emphasis on the run game than they did last year. The Buffalo Bills opened the game against the Lions with five rushing attempts, all by Devin Singletary, to only two passing attempts.

Singletary in particular had a good start to the game with back-to-back 15-yard runs, however, one was called back due to a hold by Bobby Hart. He would finish the first quarter with 28 rushing yards for an average of just over five yards per carry.

Another player that has some questions if he will play is Zack Moss, who is dealing with a hamstring injury but was off the injury report on Monday, per Marcel Louis-Jacques’ tweet.

If Moss does play, the Bills will likely once again lean on the run game as they try to get the second-year back some work before the regular season as well as begin to try and find the right balance between Singletary and Moss.
