Tre’Davious White drops nearly 40 spots in this year’s version of the Top 100 players on NFL Network.

Tre’Davious White is one of the best players on the Buffalo Bills and is also one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL. However, in this year’s version of the Top 100 players, which started on Sunday on NFL Network, White barely makes the list at 95th overall.

This is a drop of nearly 40 spots from last year when he was ranked 47th.

Entering this year’s edition of the rankings, it was expected that White would drop since 2019 was a career year when he had six interceptions, which was tied for the league lead. He was named a first-team All-Pro and to his first Pro Bowl that season.

This year he didn’t have nearly as much success and finished with three interceptions and 11 passes defended, which was down from 17 last year. However, he did make the Pro Bowl for a second season.

Tre’Davious White dropped too far

Even though Tre’Davious White didn’t play at the same level, it is hard to believe that he could fall as far as he did. The Buffalo Bills have had one of the best secondaries over the past few years, last season included, and White is a big reason for that.

The Buffalo Bills have Super Bowl aspirations this season and while Josh Allen is the key piece, there is a second group closely behind that the Bills will need to lean on if they hope to achieve that goal. In that group is cornerback Tre’Davious White as he is this defense’s top cornerback and regularly draws the opposing team’s best wide receiver.

This is not an easy task and Tre’Davious White should have been rated much higher than 95th overall in this year’s version of the Top 100 players.
