Cole Beasley makes NFL Network’s Top 100 players after career season.

The NFL Network kicked off their annual rankings of the Top 100 players which is a list compiled by votes of current players. The Buffalo Bills didn’t have to wait long to see their first player make the list with Cole Beasley being ranked 96th.

This past season was Cole Beasley’s third with the Buffalo Bills and ninth in the NFL but it was arguably his best and was enough to earn him a spot in these rankings. He finished the season with 82 receptions on 107 targets for 967 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

The receptions, targets, and receiving yards were all career highs however they could have been higher. He only played in 15 games after suffering a broken leg against the New England Patriots in Week 16.

If he didn’t suffer this injury, he would have likely surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. Even without playing that 16th game, Beasley did enough to earn a second-team All-Pro selection.

This was also Cole Beasley’s first time making the NFL Network’s Top 100 players.

Cole Beasley is expected to remain a key part of this Bills offense in 2021

While Cole Beasley made headlines this offseason off the field for his thoughts on the vaccine and the NFL’s protocol, he is expected to continue to be a key part of the Buffalo Bills on the field in 2021. The slot receiver position is an important part of Brian Daboll’s offense and Cole Beasley is one of the best in the league.

The Bills are likely to continue to lean heavily on their passing attack and Cole Beasley, along with Stefon Diggs, should be the team’s top receivers again this year and Josh Allen’s favorite targets. This should give Beasley a great chance to not only remain in these rankings but even move up next offseason.
