Number 1: Stefon Diggs

Cap Hit: $6,396,111

Rank among wide receivers: 24th

The Buffalo Bills did a similar move with Stefon Diggs that they did with Tre’Davious White by converting his salary to a bonus. This dropped his cap hit this year but increased that total to over $17 million the next two seasons.

However, Diggs contract is one that is undoubtedly a bargain no matter which way to look at it. In terms of average salary, Stefon Diggs still ranks only 19th among wide receivers.

This is remarkable for a player who just finished this past season as a first-team All-Pro and led the league in receptions and receiving yards. The fact that Josh Allen is back and they both will be playing in an offense called by Brian Daboll sets Stefon Diggs to easily surpass his cap hit.
