Number 5: Levi Wallace

Cap Hit: $1,676,460

Rank among Cornerbacks: 86th

Ever since Levi Wallace joined the Buffalo Bills, he has seemingly been overlooked and every training camp the team has brought in competition. And every year, Wallace wins the starting job and is a key part of one of the top secondaries in the NFL.

This year was a little different as Wallace was the veteran and was competing against Dane Jackson, who was a seventh round pick last year. The hope was that Jackson would win the starting job but in the early part of the position battle, Wallace has been the better corner as Thad Brown recently tweeted over the weekend.

If Levi Wallace does win the starting job and does start every game this season (like he has the past two years) it is hard to imagine that he wouldn’t outperform his cap hit this season if he is able to maintain the same level of play from prior years.
