Where are the starters from the Buffalo Bills 2018 offense now?

August is a time of eternal optimism for NFL fans as by the end of the painfully long offseason most fanbases have convinced themselves that their team has done all of the right things and that this year is their year. Sometimes the August optimism carries all the way through the season and culminates in a Super Bowl run and other times all goodwill is demoralized before the end of the first game.

The latter would be the outcome for the 2018 Buffalo Bills. Coming off a 9-7 season and a playoff appearance the front office decided to take a step back in 2018, clearing a bunch of money off the books and acquiring draft picks. The team had drafted their future franchise quarterback with the seventh overall pick but for now he was on the back burner thanks to Nathan Peterman’s outstanding preseason.

The Bills opened the year by traveling to Baltimore to face the Ravens, who also went 9-7 the year before. It was a game that many fans thought was winnable at the time. What ensued was one of the worst losses in Bills franchise history and being the first game of the season it was magnified.

The Ravens romped over the Bills 47-3 and dominated every phase of the game. When remembering this awful Bills team a question popped into my head: “how many offensive starters from the 2018 team are even still in the league?” This article will answer that question. Despite 2018 only being 3 years ago the Bills have undergone almost a complete rebuild since then, adding key contributors to almost every position group.
