Ultimately, the Bills’ defense will need the defensive line to take a major step forward if it wants to be considered the best in the division. The team has the players in place to have a breakout year in Oliver, Epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham, but having all that high-draft capital translate into on-field success will be crucial.
The linebacker and secondary cores remain almost unchanged which isn’t a bad thing, and the special teams unit, while not terrible, isn’t in as solid of standing as it was a season ago.
