Before last season, the preseason was viewed as a time to get all the players on the same page and knock off the offseason rust. However, due to the pandemic the Buffalo Bills, along with the rest of the league, did not play any preseason games last year.

This didn’t stop the Bills from having one of their best seasons in over two decades with a 13-3 record and a trip to the AFC Championship Game.

This year, the preseason games are back although they are down from every team playing four games to three. These preseason games will be valuable to the coaching staff as it gives them a chance to evaluate players in a position battle in game situations. It also gives rookies a chance to get acclimated to the speed of an NFL game.

However, there is a group of players where the risk outweighs the reward. When looking at this team, there is a group of four players that the Buffalo Bills should not play at all this preseason.
