QB Davis Webb

Since being brought in by the Buffalo Bills, Davis Webb has been a member of their practice squad. Although he hasn’t stepped on the field during a regular season game, he’s had a big impact on the team – specifically Josh Allen.

Just one glance at Webb’s Twitter account will tell you that he’s close with Allen. At the end of the regular season, the Bills promoted Davis Webb to the active roster and while he didn’t play in the game Sean McDermott did talk about a player whose impact goes beyond what he does on the field.

However, in the preseason, Davis Webb is going to have a chance to show what he can do on the field. The Bills are likely to limit Josh Allen’s snaps and this could create more opportunities for Webb. If he is able to replicate some of his performances from his time at Texas Tech, the legend of Davis Webb could grow a little more.
