Buffalo Bills Quarterback (3):

Josh Allen, Mitchell Trubisky, Jake Fromm

The quarterback position is perhaps the biggest lock on the entire Buffalo Bills roster. Josh Allen blossomed into a superstar quarterback in 2020 and will look to maintain or even improve upon a season in which he was runner-up for MVP.

Mitchell Trubisky will serve as Allen’s backup during what can be seen as a transition year for Trubisky. Jake Fromm will be the third quarterback on the roster as the Bills continue to evaluate what they have in him.

Davis Webb will likely be the only quarterback released, but he will stick around on the practice squad. He is praised by both the coaching staff and his teammates for his scout team usefulness and knowledge of the game.

Running Back (4):

Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Matt Breida, Taiwan Jones

The running game needs to improve for the Bills in 2021. They finished 20th in rushing in 2020, breaking their streak of five consecutive Top 10 finishes from 2015-2019.

Devin Singletary and Zack Moss will share the bulk of the carries, while Matt Breida will attempt to be the home run hitter that the Bills have been lacking for quite some time.

Taiwan Jones will again be a key contributor on special teams for the Bills in 2021; his roster spot is likely safe.

Antonio Williams would be the odd man out, though the Bills would certainly like to keep him on the practice squad. Christian Wade is still protected under the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program and will likely spend one more season the practice squad.
