The Buffalo Bills are one of the deepest and most talented teams in the NFL. Just like every team in the NFL, the Bills will have several players with contracts that expire after the 2021 season.

Several of those contracts will likely not be renewed, that is just an inevitability, in any sport. The Bills, however, will have to let some quality depth pieces depart in free agency due to the depth of their roster.

Fortunately for the Bills, they are usually good at finding players who maintain the quality depth while playing on team-friendly contracts. Josh Norman, Matt Barkley, Quinton Jefferson, and Dean Marlowe are a few names that come to mind as quality players that the Bills had on team friendly contracts who performed at an acceptable level when asked to step in and play.

As is the case with every team in the NFL, names on the bottom half of the roster cycle in and out like a machine every year, and some teams are better at finding depth pieces than others.

The Bills have some interesting names set to be unrestricted free agents at the end of the 2021 season, and it is worth taking a look at those who are playing for new contracts, either with the Bills or another team in the NFL.
