4. Carlos Basham Jr.

If there is a rookie who could lead the Buffalo Bills in sacks this year I believe that it is Carlos Basham Jr. The Bills selected him in the second round after four seasons with Wake Forest and while he may not have the ceiling that Greg Rousseau does, he is in better position to make an impact as a rookie.

Carlos Basham Jr. played in 31 games over four seasons with the Demon Deacons and had 19.5 sacks and 35.5 tackles for a loss in those games.

The experience he gained at college should help but another reason why he could end up leading the team is the coaching staff could move him around on the defensive line. At 6’3″ and 274 pounds, Carlos Basham Jr. has the size to be able to slide inside to defensive tackle on passing downs and bring additional pressure up the middle.

This versatility should help him stay on the field more and the more opportunities he has on the field, the better his chances are to lead the Buffalo Bills in sacks.
