The Buffalo Bills are in an enviable position of stability and depth at the linebacker position in 2021. The top four spots on the depth chart are essentially locks, while some intriguing depth players will fight it out for the final two spots.

The linebackers on the Buffalo roster have a mix of useful strengths; like Matt Milano’s pass coverage, Tremaine Edmunds’ freakish size and athleticism, and Tyler Matakevich’s consistency on special teams.

It is unlikely that anything shocking happens to the Bills linebacker group before Week 1; the top four spots on the depth chart are set, and almost any combination in the bottom two spots can be justified.

With a mix of special team’s ability and untapped potential amongst the Buffalo Bills linebacker group, it will be interesting to see how the depth chart unfolds. The bottom half of the depth chart will be especially interesting to watch.

Though there will be few surprises come cut day, it would still be interesting to take a closer look at the pre-training camp depth chart.
