The tight end position is going to be one of the better position battles to watch for the Buffalo Bills this coming season. The reason is that the starting job, and really every spot on the depth chart, is up for grabs entering training camp.

After the 2020 season, the tight end position was one that Brandon Beane specifically mentioned as an area of improvement. While the Buffalo Bills offense really improved, the tight end position was one that underwhelmed with Dawson Knox primarily the starter, with Tyler Kroft getting the occasional snap.

However, the Bills didn’t really make many changes with the only addition being Josh Allen’s former teammate Jacob Hollister. While Zach Ertz is still rumored to be looking to get out of Philadelphia, as the 2021 season gets closer the likelihood of a deal diminishes.

If the Buffalo Bills go into training camp with the tight end position as is, this is what I believe the depth chart will look like.
