The greatest Buffalo Bills players to don 31-50
The greatest Buffalo Bills player to wear #36:
Ironically, Lawyer Milloy comes to a few spots after O.J. Simpson (wordplay). After spending seven years with the New England Patriots, Milloy crossed the divisional rival line and spent three years with the Buffalo Bills.
I guess this is the Stephon Gilmore kind of swap before it actually happened. Milloy would go on to admit that he was “disgusted” at how the Patriots gave him an ultimatum about taking a pay cut. Joining Buffalo was one way to spurn Belichick at that time.
Milloy only had three interceptions while with the team, but when you’re far and above the others who have worn it, winning the jersey title almost is by default. Technically speaking Rodney Bellinger had one more INT than Milloy, but tackles were not recorded for him on the PFR website. I went with Milloy.
Milloy’s journeyman career would take him to stops with Atlanta and Seattle before retiring after the 2010 season.
