The greatest Buffalo Bills player to wear #50:

We’ve reached the end of this range, and last but not least is Kiko Alonso at the 50 spot. Funny how this list starts and ends with an Oregon Duck. Alonso was the team’s second-round pick in 2013- his only season as a member of the Bills.

With 4 interceptions, 2 sacks, and 159 combined tackles in his rookie season, Alonso should have at least made the Pro Bowl for that effort from a rookie.

Alonso had become a popular name, and all was well until the team shipped him to Philadelphia in the LeSean McCoy trade. The crazier thing is that Alonso would go on to tie Eric Dickerson’s record of being the league’s most-traded player with 4 different trades in their careers.

Instead of being known for his playmaking ability, Alonso is most recognized for his hit on Joe Flacco on Thursday Night Football in which he basically took Flacco’s head off as Flacco attempted to slide.

It just really makes you wonder how his career would have panned out in Buffalo had the team not traded him away.
