Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have brought a number of players in that have had a positive impact on the team and their performance on the field. Typically, if a player plays well the Bills will try their best to retain that player.

This past season, a perfect example would be offensive tackle Daryl Williams. The Bills signed the former Carolina Panthers’ right tackle to a one-year prove-it deal. He certainly did that and more and started every regular season and postseason game for the Bills last year.

The Buffalo Bills were expected to lose Daryl Williams this offseason with teams likely competing to sign the free agent to a new deal. However, the team was able to reach a new three-year deal and he is expected to remain with the franchise for the next few seasons.

However, these are three players who had one good season with the Bills but for one reason or another didn’t return the next year.
