QB Mitchell Trubisky

Third on my list is Mitchell Trubisky. Trubisky came to Buffalo in a rather surprising move after he had the starting job given and then taken away from him in Chicago countless times. After all that drama with the Bears, I thought he would’ve gone to a different place where he might start.

By now we know that Trubisky chose the Bills as he saw it as a way to learn and increase his skills. By sacrificing a year now, Trubisky may end up with a starting job down the road. Or at the very least, be a capable backup like Marcus Mariota of the Las Vegas Raiders (how ironic that they’re both top-10 draft picks).

If all goes well in Buffalo this year, the only time we’ll see Trubisky is the preseason and when the games are blowouts. Many Bills fans are happy with the one-year rental of Trubisky. We have no idea how he’ll play, but I still hold my reservations until the progression happens.
