The Best Buffalo Bills player to wear #29: Mario Clark

Mario Clark. 29. . . 16. Cornerback. Oregon. player

Mario Clark was drafted in the first round of the 1976 NFL draft out of Oregon. Clark entered Oregon and the NFL with some legendary achievements to his name. Clark had the distinguished honor of being the first true freshman corner to start a game for the Fighting Ducks and was the 1976 Senior Bowl player of the game. Clark is a member of Oregon’s Hall of Fame, being inducted in 2017.

Clark would have 25 interceptions in 8 years with the team, leaving after the 1983 season to join the San Francisco 49ers on their Super Bowl XIX championship run, beating the Miami Dolphins and Dan Marino to claim the title.

As for the rest of the list, there wasn’t anyone that really made a case for a runner-up. Take a look here and make the argument for who you think could be second. This is going to stay Clark’s number for a while.
