Last year, the Buffalo Bills drafted seven players in the 2020 NFL Draft and while most of the starters were returning from the previous season, these players as rookies still found a way to make an impact.

Their impact was certainly at different varying levels from Jake Fromm, who wasn’t active for any games all season, to Tyler Bass who won the starting placekicker job in training camp. Entering their second season in the league, players in this draft class are expected to have an even bigger role in 2021.

I rank this group of players based on my prediction on their impact on the Buffalo Bills this coming season.

Number 7 – Jake Fromm

Starting this list is a player that fans hopefully won’t see in a regular season game this year. The reason is that this means that Josh Allen is likely hurt and forced to miss time and Mitchell Trubisky wasn’t able to produce in his place or also ended up getting injured.

The Buffalo Bills drafted Fromm in the fifth round and last year he was used as an emergency quarterback due to the pandemic. This meant the coaching staff kept him away from the team in case there was an outbreak.

At this point, Fromm isn’t guaranteed a roster spot but if he does make the roster, he would likely be as the team’s third string.
