Isaiah Hodgins is off to a great start

Before the start of offseason workouts, it wouldn’t have been surprising to think that Isaiah Hodgins could be on the roster bubble this year. That is not to say the sixth round pick from 2020 didn’t have the potential to be a contributor but with the depth the team has at the position, Hodgins could be the odd man out.

However, that doesn’t appear to be the case as Isaiah Hodgins was mentioned by Sean McDermott and Josh Allen this week as a player who has stood out during offseason workouts.

Buffalo Bills fans didn’t get a chance to see Isaiah Hodgins last year with no preseason games. The former Oregon State wide receiver was then placed on injured reserve at the start of the season and around the time he was expected to return, he would end up having shoulder surgery and ending his season.

However, the injury doesn’t appear as it will linger into this season as Isaiah Hodgins tweeted that he is cleared and 100% healthy.

While Isaiah Hodgins may not be guaranteed a roster spot, he has certainly put himself in great position to be with the Buffalo Bills in 2021.
