The Buffalo Bills knew who their 2021 opponents would be once Week 17 of the 2020 season concluded. The Washington Football Team was added to the schedule when the league approved a change from 16 regular season games to 17.

What the Bills did not know was how the NFL Draft, free agency, and trades during the off-season would change the rosters of their 2021 opponents. The Bills will have some fresh matchups in 2021 against the AFC South. Outside of those four games, the Jaguars are the only team the Bills have not played at least once since 2019 (including playoffs).

Three teams that Buffalo are very well acquainted with are the Dolphins, Jets, and Patriots; their fellow AFC East squads. The Bills went a perfect 6-0 against their division rivals in 2020, claiming their first ever sweep of the division and their first AFC East championship since 1995.

The Bills are the clear favorite to repeat as AFC East champions, but it’s worth taking a look at what their opponents bring to the table in 2021, and their own division is a good starting point.
