Best Buffalo Bills player to wear number 3: Pete Gogolak, Kicker

Another number, another kicker. Is anyone surprised at this point? Pete Gogolak is our champion here as he has rings to claim the top spot. The Hungarian-born kicker was drafted out of Cornell, and spent his first two seasons with the Buffalo Bills, guiding them to back-to-back AFL titles. Both games came as convincing wins over the San Diego Chargers in 1964 and 1965.

Gogolak would leave the Bills to spend the rest of his career with the New York Giants after posting a career field goal percentage of 62.7% in his time with the Bills. He did make his first and only Pro Bowl appearance in his second season in 1965.

There are some great names on this list as well, with Derek “Every single week” Anderson spending a year with the team, and the oh-so-legendary Todd Schlopy wearing it in the 1987 season. Don’t forget E.J. Manuel also wore this during his time in Buffalo before heading off to Oakland.
