Buffalo Bills: 4 players that fans should be excited to watch in preseason
Gregory Rousseau
The first player on this list was actually not on the Buffalo Bills last season but has also not seen any in-game snaps in over a year. That player is the Bills first round pick, defensive end Gregory Rousseau.
The former University of Miami pass rusher sat out last year due to the pandemic and hasn’t played in a game since 2019. However, that 2019 season was tremendous as he had 15.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for a loss in 13 games.
After not playing for a full year, combined with the fact that he was a first round pick so expectations are high, will make Rousseau one of the players that fans are going to be paying close attention to during the preseason.
The preseason is also going to be important to Rousseau as performance in these games is likely going to drive what the rotation is at the defensive end position, at least in the early part of the season. When considering the depth the team has, snaps are going to be tough to come by sometimes so if Rousseau gets off to a fast start, it should help him earn a more prominent role in the rotation.
