Buffalo Bills: 4 potential moves to use cap space after Stefon Diggs deal
Sign Richard Sherman
If the Buffalo Bills don’t want to sign a player like Steven Nelson to a long-term deal, another route they could take is signing a veteran like Richard Sherman. This is typically the path the Buffalo Bills have taken and with a young player like Dane Jackson, who enters this year with high expectations, this might be the best route.
Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have brought in older veterans like Vontae Davis, Kevin Johnson, and Josh Norman with varying levels of success. However, a player like Richard Sherman would be the best of this group and also could be a veteran voice with Super Bowl experience in the locker room.
If the Buffalo Bills don’t trade for Zach Ertz, it would make sense for the Bills to work out a deal with Sherman similar to what Josh Norman got last year in the range of $6 million for one year.
