Stefon Diggs

This next player’s performance is tied very closely to Josh Allen but there is a case to be made that Allen doesn’t have the year he does without Stefon Diggs. The Buffalo Bills trade for Stefon Diggs last offseason was one of the best in the NFL as Diggs would go on to lead the league in receptions and receiving yards.

The connection that Diggs and Allen built was undeniable and there were times that it felt like the opposing defense had no answers on how to stop the Bills’ top receiver.

This is why Stefon Diggs is the next player on this list of players the Buffalo Bills can’t afford to regress this coming season. There is no question that opposing coaching staffs are going to be studying this offense and trying to figure out ways to slow down Stefon Diggs. He is going to be the focus and will need to be ready for that.

Fortunately for the Bills they have one of the better offensive minds in the game in Brian Daboll and he will certainly have new ways to incorporate their star receiver. There is a case to be made that Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are the two most important players on the roster this coming season and the team can’t afford to have either regress.
