Jim Kelly and the receiving corps for the Bills were taking no prisoners, and for a while the Steelers weren’t either. This was a game where you’d think there was tons of lead changes, but Pittsburgh never had the lead. Buffalo stormed out to a 31-10 lead early in the third quarter. The black and gold would score 17 unanswered points to close the gap to 31-27, but that’s the closest they’d get since the game was 0-0. The Bills would go on to win, 52-34.

, who had 10 catches for and 112 yards. Surprisingly, the picture above did not result in a blocked punt, despite what that traffic jam of human bodies looks like up there.
Both teams traded pick-sixes as well. Buffalo would go to the Super Bowl, part of their four consecutive appearances in the 90s.
