Buffalo Bills Scorigami

In a low-scoring game, the creamsicle Tampa Bay Buccaneers double up the Buffalo Bills.

For one of their lowest Scorigami’s, the Bills lost a 10-5 decision to the Buccaneers. This game took until the second quarter to see any scoring at all, as a John Carney field goal got Tampa on the board. The only touchdown of the game would come on a Vinny Testaverde 4 yard run. Talk about two players that played for a handful of teams.

Buffalo’s only scores came on defense and special teams, as Bruce Smith had a safety on Testaverde, and a Scott Norwood field goal would create such an odd score, literally and figuratively.  Buffalo had a chance in the third quarter, but on 3rd and goal (as you’ll see in the video below), they were stopped.

So they had a decision: go for it, or take the points. Buffalo opted to run the ball, giving the ball to Robb Riddick. Riddick got stopped at the one-yard line, and Buffalo came away with no points at all. Not to mention Jim Kelly threw two picks. This was quite an upset as Tampa entered the game with a 3-10 record as opposed to Buffalo’s 11-1 record.

Buffalo would go on to the AFC Championship before losing to the Cincinnati Bengals, 21-10.

Bills record so far: 1-3-1
