The Buffalo Bills have been a part of NFL history, by virtue of Scorigami.
That happened twice last year for the Buffalo Bills, and there have been other times they’ve been a part of the unique scoring events. Scorigami was mentioned in my latest article on the last five matchups vs the New York Jets. This post is going to take a look at the times the Buffalo Bills have qualified for Scorigami.
Now technically the definition is a unique score that has never happened before. One thing that has helped Scorigami happen more often is (or at least have the chance to) is the fact that the extra point got moved back from the 2-yard line to the 15.
Kickers aren’t as automatic anymore, and one missed extra point can change the point trajectory in a game. What would usually be a 28-20 game can become a 28-19, or any other variation you can think of.
There was no quick way of gathering this data, as I had to manually scroll through the official Scorigami website’s charting of every NFL score ever. With the “show gradient,” mode enabled (best seen on a desktop/laptop), clicking on the dark blue squares is where I found the 12 Scorigami games that Buffalo Bills had participated in. If I missed a game, then I am human, and let me know in the comments.
Let’s get started!
