Buffalo Bills fan walks with Josh Allen jersey over diploma at graduation

Buffalo Bills fans are some of the loudest and proudest fans in the league.

One Buffalo Bills fan spurned her diploma to walk with a Josh Allen jersey across the stage on her graduation day. A video posted on Twitter by @HayleyHammer shows the memorable moment with a big smile as she walks to center stage.

I mean this is just plain awesome. It’s the sheer dedication to her Bills fandom that even the official Buffalo Bills Twitter account replied with a GIF of Allen shredding the guitar.  While Josh Allen himself is yet to respond, I’m sure he has to be feeling pretty honored about this.

This is just another installment in how Bills fans show their pride and authenticity. I actually can’t believe it took someone this long to actually do this in the first place, but that’s not a knock on Ms. Hayley at all.

Will it be a new trend that all Bills fans start doing? I can see this getting very popular for all graduation ceremonies going forward. The only thing that’s missing is the tables being smashed. There have also been Bills fans who’ve proposed in Bills jerseys, gotten married on the 50-yard line, and even two Bills fans finding their forever partners during a stadium tour.

I hope the Bills reach out to her and give her something cool. Whether that remains just on social media or tickets, it’d be cool to reward such a diehard Buffalo Bills fan who had the guts to walk across that stage with the jersey in her hands.

This just shows how much football is really bigger than just being a sport, as it’s a big way of life for a lot of people. Moments like this get me excited to get closer to football season and see the Bills contend for a title.
