Buffalo Bills win the AFC East in Week 15

The way the Bills 2021 schedule sets up, they realistically could be looking at an 8-1 start to the year. This type of early season success could put them in a position to lock up the AFC East for the second straight year in Week 15.

While the Buffalo Bills would secure the AFC East in the same week of the season, this year would be a little more impressive because there would still be three regular season games left in the season, compared to only two last year.

The reason the Bills should be able to win the AFC East so early is that the rest of the division doesn’t appear they have closed the gap enough this offseason to challenge the Buffalo Bills.

The New England Patriots were very active in the offseason but have serious questions at quarterback. There is uncertainty about whether Cam Newton can bounce back or if Mac Jones is ready to take over as a rookie?

The New York Jets may not have a question about who will be starting, all indications are that it will be rookie Zach Wilson, but whether the rookie is ready to make an impact this year.

Then there is the Miami Dolphins, who probably present the biggest challenge to the Bills’ goal of winning the division but they didn’t really do much this offseason to improve the overall roster.

If the Buffalo Bills are able to get off to a fast start, they should build a sizeable lead that will allow them to lock up the division title in Week 15.
