Buffalo Bills trap game #1: at Jacksonville Jaguars, Week 8

Even though this game is after the team’s bye week, it still poses a tough task for Buffalo. Taking on the Jaguars will be one of the most interesting matchups this season as the Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne era begins.

The Bills lead the all-time series (17 games) against Jacksonville, with 9 wins.

It may be easy to overlook the Jaguars’ defense, given their record last season. Let’s not forget this is the same team that was leading against Green Bay on the road in the final minutes, only to fall victim to Aaron Rodgers. And that team was lead by trivia-question favorite Jake Luton. Jake Luton nearly beat Aaron Rodgers! Let that sink in.

There’s also a chance Lawrence will have a good feel for Urban Meyer’s system by early November, thus having the Jaguars offense performing a little bit better. This Jaguars team could start the season out weak with a rookie quarterback and head coach, but if there’s anyone to will his team to victory, it’s Lawrence.
