For a few months now, the Buffalo Bills have known who they were playing but it wasn’t until Wednesday night when they found when they were playing these teams. There are certainly a few highlights on this schedule starting with an extra regular season game as the NFL schedule has expanded to 17 games over 18 weeks. This year the Bills have nine home games, eight games on the road, and includes some marquee matchups like a Thanksgiving showdown with the New Orleans Saints.

The Bills also have four primetime games this season after playing in five primetime games a season ago. After looking at the schedule, this is my prediction for every game and what their regular-season record could look like.

Week 1: Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills start the season at home for the second straight year and this time will be facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last year, the Bills and Steelers were both playoff teams and there is no reason to think either team won’t be competing for playoff spots again this year.

While this will be a tough game, the Bills do get a slight advantage being at home and hopefully in front of a close to full capacity stadium. When two teams are evenly matched, this is something that certainly could have an impact and is enough to start the season off with a win for the Bills.

Prediction: Win (1-0)
