Buffalo Bills offensive linemen that can be traded: Jamil Douglas

Jamil Douglas has been in the league since 2015, when he spent two years in Miami, and then also in Tenessee.  In 2016, he only played one game for reasons I am unable to find (not sure if injury or just coaching decision). Being listed as the second of three right guards for the Buffalo Bills and only on a year contract, being able to flip him for a pick would be successful for General Manager Brandon Beane.

Douglas is good at redirecting rushers, and his fluid in his hips and movement. That fits into the Broncos’ new scheme of a pulling-first run game. Let’s not count out the impact of pulling on linebackers. If a linebacker even momentarily follows a puller (sometimes it’s just for deception) then that opens passing lanes for the QB (whoever it’ll be this year) even more.

While he needs to work on anchoring himself against bull rush techniques, he can be sent over to Denver ahead of the handful of guys they worked out on Tuesday. The Broncos would be smart to accept a trade for Douglas instead of signing Bobbie Massie.
