Brian Daboll returns as playcaller

The second reason is that Brian Daboll is set to return as offensive coordinator this season for the Buffalo Bills. Daboll, in his third year with the team, emerged as one of the better offensive minds in the league and was sought after by a number of teams looking for a head coach.

He ultimately didn’t get a new job and the Buffalo Bills certainly benefit from him returning for one more year. While his return is a great sign for Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs also will benefit from Daboll returning this season.

Another reason that his production improved as the season went on was that Brian Daboll was able to continue to get a familiarity with his playmakers and put them in a position to succeed.

There won’t need to be another learning curve to start the year for Diggs and a new playcaller which allows him to continue to produce like he did at the end of last season.
