The NFL Draft can drastically change the plans for any NFL team and that includes the Buffalo Bills. Entering the 2021 NFL Draft, they certainly did not expect to use their first two picks on defensive ends and then draft two offensive linemen with their next two picks.

However, what they did during free agency gave them that freedom to focus on finding the best players available regardless of what the position was. The way the NFL Draft went for the Bills now requires the front office to evaluate their roster which means potentially starting to identify players who may not be on the final 53-man roster.

This certainly doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to be released or won’t make the active roster. Over the next few months, there will be offseason workouts, training camp and expected to be preseason games this year.

These are going to be very important as they try to secure a spot on the 53-man roster for these three players who could already be on the roster bubble.
