For the Buffalo Bills, the defending AFC East division champions, it’s rare air to see other teams drafting quarterbacks high in the draft. The Miami Dolphins took theirs last year in Tua Tagovailoa. And of course, we know by now that the New York Jets drafted Zach Wilson 2nd, and Mac Jones went to the New England Patriots at 15 in this year’s draft.
Tagovailoa is basically still a rookie quarterback based on the “you’re going to play/ you’re not going to play” strategy from Brian Flores. We’ve yet to see Wilson and Jones suit up for their respective teams, although you could make an argument for any of these three quarterbacks (Cam Newton is excluded as we’re focusing on the younger QB’s in this one) has a shot to beat the Buffalo Bills, especially since there wasn’t a cornerback taken.
We’ll talk about each young QB’s chances, weapons, and if they can ultimately take one game from the Bills.
