Coming off a historic 2020 season, the Buffalo Bills are gearing up to repeat as AFC East champs. This time around, the feat will be more challenging as the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots both got better through the draft and free agency. If the Buffalo Bills are looking to sustain division dominance similar to what the New England Patriots did, the team will have to sure up some areas of concern.

While the areas of concern are by no means dire needs, as they still have more than capable bodies in them, the long-term success of the franchise will be better off if they are addressed. With questionable depth at wide receiver and cornerback, inefficiency at tight end, and a potential hole at center, the Bills are not perfect. As much as the Bills would like to address all these needs, they are limited with what they can do with the salary cap remaining this year and what it is expected to be next year. As a result, the team will have to address these needs in either free agency, drafting prospects or trading way assets to acquire them.

As the team sets sails on offseason training programs and training camp, these are the team’s four areas of concern following the 2021 NFL Draft.
