Final Grade for the Buffalo Bills 2021 Draft Class: B

When looking at the entire 2021 NFL Draft class for the Buffalo Bills, it is clear they wanted high ceiling players that are physically gifted. This includes defensive end Gregory Rousseau and offensive tackles Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle as players that have great physical tools but need some coaching to reach their full potential.

On Day 3, specifically the sixth and seventh round, the focus for the Bills was to get experienced role players that can be good depth to round out this roster with the selections of Marquez Stevenson, Damar Hamlin, and Jack Anderson.

The key to the entire class though could be Carlos Basham Jr. as he is a player that not only could be a long-term piece for this defensive line but could contribute as a rookie. He is a player that has great versatility and should be moved around regular to get winnable matchups.

This year’s draft class feels very much like a boom or bust type group and is tough to grade right now. The Buffalo Bills took more risks than they may have in the past. The reason why this isn’t necessarily a bad thing is because the Bills already have a pretty good roster and are in a position where they can take those risks.
