2018 Undrafted Free Agents

Undrafted signings: RB Keith Ford, WR Robert Foster, WR Cam Phillips, OG Gerhard de Beer, OG Ike Boettger, OG Wilson Bell, OT Mo Porter, DE Mike Love, DE/OLB Matt Boeson, LB Corey Thompson, CB Ryan Carter, CB Levi Wallace, K Tyler Davis

Still with Buffalo: OG Ike Boettger, DE Mike Love, CB Levi Wallace

Still in the NFL: WR Robert Foster (Miami)

Ike Boettger entered the NFL from Iowa University and was a highly touted undrafted free agent. Boettger came into the league after an Achilles injury plagued his senior season. Boettger has had stints with the Bills twice and the Kansas City Chiefs. This season Boettger started seven games for Buffalo including playing every single offensive snap in the playoffs.

Mike Love has spent all three of his professional season with the Buffalo Bills. Love has found a home on the practice squad for Buffalo receiving the occasional call-up as a reserve defensive end. Love has 7 career tackles and 1 tackle for loss in four games as a member of the Buffalo Bills.

Levi Wallace is one of the most successful undrafted free agents under Brandon Beane. A former walk-on at Alabama Wallace went undrafted due to the lack of physical traits and only 14 starts in 20 games played in college. Wallace has started 35 games for the Bills and been at least decent every season. Every year Brandon Beane has brought in competition for Wallace. Regardless of that Wallace either wins the job or split time with another player. With over 150 tackles, 2 INT’s, and 20 Passes Defended Wallace holds his own at the corner position. Going into the 2021 season Wallace is signed to Buffalo but Beane was reluctant to name him the starter in his postseason press conference. Wallace will have to earn his role just like any other year in 2021.

Robert Foster had a really solid rookie season with Buffalo having 541 yards on 27 catches and 3 touchdowns including one of the best touchdown catches of Josh Allen’s rookie year. . After his rookie year, Foster fell out of the wide receiver rotation in Buffalo leading to him being cut and signing with the Washington Football Team in 2020. Foster was not resigned and signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Foster a solid deep threat has not been able to replicate production similar to his rookie season with Buffalo.
