Chicago Bears

Fresh off an NFL on Nickelodeon playoff loss, the Chicago Bears find themselves looking to find a way to hang in with the league’s best.

After starting 5-1, the Bears treaded water all the way to an 8-8 record. Along the way, they lost six consecutive games to powerhouse franchises such as the Green Bay Packers, the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Tennessee Titans. They also lost to the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions during that stretch as well.

If the Bears were to make a play for Devin Singletary, he would be an immediate complementary piece to their running back room. After losing Tarik Cohen for the entirety of last season, David Montgomery proceeded to be a volume back for the Bears. Recording 1,070 yards on the season, Montgomery’s only relief came in the form of Cordarrelle Patterson who only racked up 232 yards; Mitchell Tribusky was the Bears’ third-best rusher with 195 yards. Adding Singletary, who rushed for 687, would be an excellent option for the Bears.

In addition, Singletary would provide help out of the backfield for Andy Dalton who is setting on his first season under center for the Bears. With Dalton having placed with Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard in Dallas, a duo of Mongomery and Singletary could help him and the Bears’ offense flourish.
