Washington Football Team (19th overall)

The Washington Football Team is another team that needs a great deal of help on the defensive side of the ball, in particular at cornerback and linebacker. When considering their head coach is Ron Rivera, and his long history with Sean McDermott as his defensive coordinator in Carolina, it would stand to reason that they could be targeting similar players that the Bills could.

For Bills fans hoping for Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah to slide to a point where the Bills trade up for him or even slide all the way to 30, Washington is the first team to pay close attention to.

Ron Rivera has had great success with players like Owusu-Koramoah as an undersized linebacker and develops them into really good players. He has been able to do it with Thomas Davis and recently Shaq Thompson during his time with the Panthers.

Similar to the Arizona Cardinals, Washington is a team that could use some help on the offensive line, specifically at tackle, which would certainly help the Buffalo Bills. They are also another team that should not be counted out of possible trading up for a quarterback if one of the Top 5 start to slide down the first round.
