Isaiah McKenzie

Contract: 1 year, $1,127,500

Average salary rank among wide receivers: 122nd

Over the past few seasons, Isaiah McKenzie has been a key part of this offense. He may not see a high volume of targets or snaps but he is a unique playmaker that Brian Daboll has been able to utilize to provide a spark or a different look for the defense.

That role is not going to go away this coming season, and just that alone should make him a pretty good bargain. However, one of the reasons he could end up being the biggest bargain is that he has the chance to expand his role and the impact he can make.

That reason is that he could potentially be the replacement for Andre Roberts, who has been the primary returner on kickoffs and punts the past two seasons. Roberts left in free agency and signed with the Houston Texans and this could create an opportunity for McKenzie to step into that role.

He is one of the few players on the roster that has experience doing both and he even returned a punt in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins when the Bills were resting some of their starters, including Roberts.

If he wins these jobs in training camp, he gives the organization a little more roster flexibility with the roles he can now play and should be one of the top bargains this coming season.
