Round 5, 161st Overall: Anthony Schwartz, WR (Auburn)

In the fifth round, the focus is towards the future with the selection of wide receiver Anthony Schwartz out of Auburn. This past season was a career year for Cole Beasley but the front office should start to think about who his eventual replacement might be and that is why Anthony Schwartz is the pick here.

The slot receiver is a player that the Buffalo Bills have met with virtually this offseason and is certainly on their radar. Schwartz is a fast wide receiver that can get vertical and over the top of defenses in a hurry. This offseason he ran a 4.26 40-yard dash which is one of the fastest in this entire draft class.

Beasley showed last year how important the slot receiver can be this to this offense. The Buffalo Bills need to ensure they have a good option after Beasley and a player like Anthony Schwartz could be that answer.
